Project Description
Espresso Network is a global confirmation layer that delivers fast and reliable transaction confirmations to Layer 2 (L2) chains using Byzantine Fault Tolerant (BFT) consensus. It improves cross-chain composability by providing near-instant, credibly neutral access to information about activities across all connected networks in the Espresso ecosystem, fostering better interoperability and communication between blockchains.
The project has raised $60 million from prominent venture capital firms including Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Sequoia Capital, and Polychain Capital, highlighting strong institutional support for its vision in advancing blockchain infrastructure.
