Raze Network: A Cross-Chain Privacy Protocol for DeFi and Web3.0

Raze Network is a Substrate-based cross-chain privacy protocol designed for the Polkadot ecosystem. It functions as a privacy middleware, providing end-to-end anonymity for DeFi and Web3.0 applications. The protocol aims to enable secure, private transactions while maintaining asset transparency and shielding user activity from surveillance.

### RAZE Token Utility

RAZE is the native utility token of the Raze Network ecosystem, serving several key functions:

- Privacy-Preserving Transactions – Allows users to interact with DeFi applications and blockchains without leaving traces of transaction history.
- Governance – Token holders can propose and vote on network upgrades.
- Exchange Medium – Used for various services within the ecosystem.
- Token Burning – A portion of transaction fees is burned in RAZE tokens.
- Liquidity Rewards – Market makers providing liquidity are incentivized with RAZE tokens.

### Technical Architecture

Raze Network leverages the Zether framework to build a decentralized, anonymous payment layer implemented as Substrate-based smart contracts. The system consists of three core modules:

- Mint – Converts base tokens into anonymized versions.
- Transfer – Facilitates private transactions between users.
- Redeem – Converts anonymized tokens back to their original form.

To ensure confidentiality, Raze employs public-key homomorphic encryption to protect transaction details. It also uses zero-knowledge proofs, including "one-out-of-many" proofs, to conceal sender and receiver identities while maintaining transaction integrity.

By integrating these privacy-preserving mechanisms, Raze Network aims to provide secure, cross-chain anonymity for cryptocurrency transactions.
