During a crypto dusting attack, small quantities of cryptocurrencies known as dust, are sent to numerous cryptocurrency addresses, with the intention of causing chaos in the tracking system.
The major objective behind this strategy is not necessarily the theft of the money, but it may be used to track and possibly depersonalise the beneficiaries.
