### Who Founded Merlin Chain?

Merlin Chain is developed by Bitmap Tech (formerly RCSV), a company known for previous Bitcoin-related projects such as Bitmap Explorer and BRC-420. The founder, Jeff, has been a long-time contributor to the Bitcoin ecosystem.

Before entering Web3, Jeff spent over a decade as an entrepreneur in the Web2 space, securing investments from prominent firms including Sequoia Capital, IDG Capital, BAI Capital, 5Y Capital, and Vitalbridge. While he had followed Web3 developments, he only fully committed to the space in 2023 after recognizing the potential of Bitcoin’s Ordinals protocol.
